Josh Winn's
Transits And Occultations chapter
in Sarah Sager's book "Exoplanets" (the recommended additional reading
reference for this course). This is an outstanding technical reference
about transiting exoplanets.

Hubble Space Telescope Time-Series Photometry of the Transiting Planet
HD 209458
by Tim Brown, Dave Charbonneau, Ron Gilliland, Bob Noyes, and Adam Burrows
(2001 ApJ 552, 699). This is the famous paper that kick-started the field of
high-precision transit science. In my opinion, this is the second most important
exoplanet paper ever published, after the 51 Peg paper by Mayor and Queloz.
System Parameters of the Transiting Extrasolar planet HD 209458b
by Rob Wittenmyer, et al. (2005 ApJ 632, 1157). Rob was an SDSU grad student
and did most of this work for his MS Thesis.

exoplanets - Josh Winn
Planets in Spin-Orbit Misalignments and the
Search for Stellar Companions - Brett Addison, et al.
On Using the Rossiter-McLaughlin Effect to
Detect Terrestrial Planets - Welsh & Orosz
Some very basic intro applet simulations about orbits from the Univ.
Nebraska - Lincoln. These used to be Flash apps, but since Flash is
no longer used, you need to install the app. Get the "NAAP Labs" software.
